Meghan Markle is being accused of supposedly looking ridiculous. That’s because she recently changed her brand name from American Riviera Orchard to the more simple, ‘As Ever.’ She’s hoping that the new name will catch on right before her new Netflix show debuts.

But there are some people who think that the Duchess of Sussex has failed to launch her brand because she keeps on making so many changes and they are the kind of changes that even Kim Kardashian wouldn’t dare do. Or at least, that’s what some critics believe.
On Instagram, Meghan said she was changing the name of her jam-to-wellness business to ‘As Ever’ describing the new identity as “a brand that I created and have poured my heart into.”
One source close to the situation even told the Daily Beast, “You wouldn’t catch Kim Kardashian doing this.”
“There are only so many relaunches you can do before you start to look ridiculous.”
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “My response to people out here complaining about her authenticity, her copying someone else, this being a vanity project etc.? Cool. Don’t buy it. More for me. Commerce and brand options area.”
Another critic wrote, “Why would they bring Kim K into this to make a point? Do they not remember when SKIMS was KIMONO?”

“Citing the Kardashians as a branding model is ridiculous, considering their numerous failed business ventures/brands. The desperation from the British media is pathetic, but hilarious too.”
Another critic wrote, “Dash was changed to Kim Kardashian West Boutique, Kardashian Kollection was changed to Kim Kardashian Collection and Kim Kardashian West Beauty was shortened to KKW Beauty. Are they perhaps being ironic in selecting Kim? Or just incapable of simple research?”
