Carlos ALCARAZ

The air of disappointment once again surrounds Carlos Alcaraz as he recently faced a semi-final defeat at the Argentina Open. While the fans appeared to be regaining confidence because of his form on the tour, the conclusion leaves them distressed. Alcaraz once remarked that he wanted to win more Grand Slam titles than Djokovic. However, to calm his fans down, he at least needs to qualify for the finals.

Carlos Alcaraz’s exit from the Argentina Open marks his seventh tour in a row in which he couldn’t even make it to the finals. While fans created a huge fort of expectations for the young Spaniard, his current form makes it seem like the fort is under attack.

Fans turn their disappointment into rage as Carlos Alcaraz faces another early exit
The social media is currently bloated with two types of comments on Carlos Alcaraz. While some fans are criticizing the young Spaniard for his consistently diminishing graph, some others are backing him, considering it just a phase that he will overcome. Recently, an Instagram post drew stats of the recent tournaments that Alcaraz played and derived a perspective that said, “Carlitos hasn’t made it back to a title match since that crazy day(Cincy final vs Djokovic). Has it been a factor or are we giving it too much thought?”

As the post triggered the thoughts of the fans, they dropped multiple comments of criticism for the tennis star. As the trail of comments started, a fan responded with a simple remark that said, “PTSD.” This possibly meant that the young Spaniard has been facing post-traumatic stress disorder ever since he faced Djokovic.

Another fan, trolling Carlos Alcaraz with words that he recently remarked, wrote, “I want to overpass Djokovic grand slams record’🤣🤣🤣🤣”

“That’s why you never plant a “seed of belief “ to a player , they grow like a tree and eats your teritorry 😂,” wrote another fan, marking a note of criticism for the 20-year-old.

When Alcaraz boosted up to the top all of a sudden, fans started to place him beside Nadal. Now that he appears to be off-track, a fan wrote, “Alcaraz the new Nadal ❌ … Alacaraz Nadal’s shoes ✅.”

A fan, calmly expressing his disappointment over Alcaraz’s diminished form, said, “He certainly lost focus and is pretty inconsistent since the loss at the US Open. He is playing far from what he showed before.”

With these and several other comments falling on a similar note, the fans made their aggression towards Carlos Alcaraz clear. As the tennis star finds himself in a struggling situation both in terms of his performance as well as his fanbase, it still remains to be seen what strategy he implements to get back on track.
