The 23 times grand slam champion Serena Williams still have one more thing pending to achieve. The person, who is the idol for the tennis fraternity, “used to want to be an actress.” Well, Williams had aimed for the stars from the beginning and achieved way more than that. In a recent interview with People, Williams talked about a dream she is not able to pursue. “I used to want to be an actress really bad. I’m just so busy now, and it’s fine. I like my life. I’m not hanging up my acting career just yet, even though it’s already been hung up, but I’m just loving what I’m doing right now.”
Serena Williams is an entrepreneur, fashion icon, investor, philanthropist, writer, political activist and more. However, the Compton native is sad that she can’t pursue one of her other goals. While the former number 1 is finding it difficult to pursue her acting career, she has appeared in several shows and movies throughout her life. The appearances may have been small cameos, but they served to fire up the dream of being an actress for the 42-year-old.
