Carlos-Alcaraz

Ons Jabeur called on the tennis community to accept her trick shot challenge.
Carlos Alcaraz answered, in what one can only hope is a positive sign ahead of Roland Garros.

On her Instagram post, Jabeur commented for Alcaraz, Paula Badosa and Emma Raducanu to “show me what you got” after combining her keepie-uppie skills with a serve on a red clay court.

“Too easy girl,” wrote Aryna Sabalenka. Garbine Muguruza was mystified with her “wtf” response.

A little more than a day later, Alcaraz uploaded his take on the shot. And seemingly left with the Tunisian’s seal of approval.

“Very good bravo,” remarked Jabeur.

Who’s next? Look out for former US Open champion Bianca Andreescu.

“My turn,” wrote the Canadian.

Two weeks ago, Alcaraz withdrew prior to the ATP Masters 1000 event in Rome with a muscle edema in his right forearm. The two-time major winner previously missed Monte Carlo and Barcelona due to pain in the affected area.

The 22-year-old has played just one clay-court event in the lead-up to the Paris major, falling to Andrey Rublev in the Madrid quarterfinals to see his three-peat bid ended. Last year at Roland Garros, Alcaraz advanced to the semifinals for the first time before being halted by eventual champion Novak Djokovic.
