Simone Biles is already planning her reunion with husband Jonathan Biles as he heads off for the 2024 NFL season.
Owens, 29, made the journey to Paris to watch his Olympic legend wife win three more gold and one silver medal for Team USA.
However, now it’s his turn to put his sporting skills to the test as he suits up for his sixth season in the NFL.
Owens, a safety for the Chicago Bears, has left the couple’s home in Houston, Texas, and headed back to the Windy City ahead of the season starting this week.
Despite bidding farewell to her husband of one year, Biles, 27, has already scheduled in a reunion with her NFL beau
‘See you in a few weeks,’ she wrote alongside two polaroid’s of the loving pair on her Instagram story.
It’s currently unclear when the married couple will be reunited but it seems likely that the gymnast could be making an appearance at one his games.
The Bears travel down to Houston for a Week 2 matchup against Owens’ former team, the Texans, on September 15 and Biles could support her husband from the stands at NRG Stadium before she hits the road herself.
Biles recently revealed to her adoring fans that she will not be able to attend as many of her husband’s NFL games this season.
Last month, the gymnastic icon admitted in a TikTok video that she will be too busy to cheer on her beau at Soldier Field and on the road this year due to her post-Olympic duties.
‘I don’t know how many games I’ll be able to make because in a few weeks we go on tour, and if you guys aren’t aware, it’s the Gold Over America tour. I think right now we’re doing about 32 stops,’ Biles said.
The tour, a traveling gymnastics exhibition which will feature a host of gymnastic stars including Biles and her gold-medal-winning USA teammates, Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles and Hezly Rivera, will kick off on September 16 in Oceanside, California.
It will make 30 stops across the United States, finishing in Detroit on November 3, which coincides with Week 9 of the NFL schedule – the midpoint of the regular season.
While Owens plies his trade in Chicago, it appears Biles will be staying back in Texas to oversee the construction of their ‘dream home’ amid her own obligations.
She also gave fans a glimpse of the ongoing project as she shared another photo to her Instagram of Owens standing in front of a black marble fireplace, over which she wrote a sweet message.
‘Building our dream home,’ she captioned the snap, which shows her holding hands with the NFL player. ‘So lucky to do this thing called life with you.’
A couple of weeks ago, Biles took to her Instagram stories once again to provide an update on the home she is building with Owens.
Biles checked off a to-do list with a mirror selfie inside the property.
‘House meetings all day,’ Biles wrote. She also added that she also worked on landscaping and pool plans as well as audio and security amenities.
She added a video panning through the nearly-finished kitchen inside the waterfront mansion, writing: ‘So excited to make this house a HOME a couple more months.’
