The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton recently delighted fans with a personal message on X (formerly Twitter), congratulating TV presenter Dwayne Fields on becoming the UK’s new Chief Scout.

In her post, Middleton, 42, expressed excitement about working with Fields, calling the Scouts an “incredible organisation, teaching #SkillsForLife and making a huge difference to young people across the country.”

She signed off with a personal “C for Catherine,” a touch both she and Prince William use to indicate messages directly from them.

Fans responded warmly, with many praising both Middleton and Fields. “It’s always lovely to hear from the Princess of Wales. Sending love,” one supporter wrote.

Dwayne Fields, known for his advocacy for outdoor adventures, is the perfect choice to succeed Bear Grylls as Chief Scout.

Middleton, as co-president of the Scouts, has long supported outdoor activities that build confidence and life skills in children.

She even took her own children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – to a Scouts event last year to engage in activities like archery and marshmallow roasting.

This message marks Middleton’s first personal note on X since August, when she wished ParalympicsGB athletes well ahead of the Paris 2024 games.

The Princess has been less visible recently due to undergoing abdominal surgery in January.

She later revealed in an emotional video that the surgery led to a cancer diagnosis, for which she is undergoing preventive chemotherapy.

Middleton spoke candidly about her journey, saying, “I’ve had good days and bad days,” but remains focused on recovery with the support of her family and the public.
