Serena Williams recently shared pictures from her date with her husband Alexis Ohanian at a Mexican restaurant. Ohanian, an entrepreneur, co-founded the popular social media platform Reddit in 2005.
Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian first crossed paths over breakfast in Rome in May 2015, and their relationship quickly blossomed. They got engaged in 2016, and on September 1, 2017, welcomed their first daughter, Olympia. Just a couple of months later, they tied the knot at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans. Their second daughter, Adira, was born in August last year.
The couple frequently share glimpses of their life with their followers, with one of the most recent being updates from their time at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Ohanian loves his family outings and recently shared one with his eldest daughter, Olympia. Now, he’s been spotted in a Mexican-themed restaurant with his wife, 23-time Major champion Serena Williams. She shared photos from their date on Instagram, where the 42-year-old posed elegantly in every shot, while Ohanian preferred to keep a straight face throughout.
“Date night Snack? Yes Please,” Williams wrote in the captions.

Alexis Ohanian previously disclosed that he had never watched tennis before dating Williams. However, his appreciation for the sport grew once he started following it.

Serena Williams had previously revealed the reason behind getting married in New Orleans. The 23-time Grand Slam champion stated that New Orleans is Ohanian’s favorite city because of its European influence, vibrant atmosphere, and incredible food.
“Alexis [Ohanian] really wanted to do New Orleans. It’s his favorite city besides Brooklyn . It’s got a heavy European influence; it’s fun and has amazing food. He just loves the vibe,” Williams revealed [via Vogue].
Williams added that they chose the Contemporary Arts Center for their wedding because of her passion for painting and art.
“The venue—the Contemporary Arts Center of New Orleans—was a decision we both made. Painting and art is something I’m really passionate about, so it just felt natural and different to do it at a contemporary art museum,” she added .
Moreover, Ohanian recently explained that he chose New Orleans for their wedding because it’s the only city with on-demand parades and unmatched celebrations. Married in 2017, Williams and Ohanian will celebrate their seventh anniversary this year in November.
