Meghan Markle has to keep her husband Prince Harry in line to avoid potentially damaging situations, as per latest reports.
As the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are leading separate professional lives to focus on their individual philanthropic and entrepreneurial pursuits.
However, a source revealed to Heat Magazine that Meghan is worried that Harry might land in trouble if she does not keep an eye on her.
Hence, the insider claimed that Meghan has laid down the law by imposing a strict curfew on Harry during his solo work trips.
“Meghan knows there will always be people looking to trip Harry up,” the insider said. “Even if people around him don’t have negative motives, the reality is that – once the drinks start flowing – everyone’s guards come down, including Harry’s.”
“That’s the last thing Meghan needs to be worrying about, and that can easily be avoided if Harry is tucked up in bed at a reasonable hour,” they added.
The source continued: “Plus, if he’s back in his hotel room straight after dinner, they can video chat and he can even read the kids their bedtime stories.”
“He’s got a packed schedule while he’s working away with early mornings, so – for his own sake – getting an early night is best anyway.
“She’d rather not mandate a curfew, but it does make her feel a lot better, so she doesn’t see why there should be any issues with it. She’s going to stick to her guns – after all, it’s her marriage and no one else’s business.”
