Tiger Woods isn’t on the TGL roster, but he already boasts a unique record of his own.
Tiger Woods has already achieved one thing no other player in TGL will be able to complete.
Woods, alongside fellow PGA Tour ace Rory McIlroy, has been the brains behind the new innovative project taking the golf world by storm.
The organisers are looking to ‘reimagine golf for the 21st century’, with the event’s first night of action taking place earlier this week.
But while Woods isn’t on the roster for any of the six teams, the 15-time major winner has a unique TGL record no other player will be able to match.
He’s unlikely to gain any real recognition for it though and he certainly won’t be earning a cash prize, as his achievement was hitting a camera on nestled high above the simulation screen.

Explaining his shot during a mic’d up feature at SoFi Center in Florida, Woods said: “I hit the middle, high middle of the screen and the guy said ‘can you hit the camera’.
“I said, ‘I don’t know, where’s the camera?’, he replied, ‘up top’. First shot… [makes an impact gesture].”
