Future King of England, Prince Willian, takes major step to tackle wasteful spending
Prince William has taken a major step to tackle Royal family’s “wasteful spending” amid rumours King Charles is planning to abdicate his throne.
According to a latest report, the Prince of Wales is taking steps to make the Royal family more sustainable as he takes measures to handle “wasteful spending” within the firm.
A source spilt to In Touch Weekly that the future King is monitoring expenses closely and cutting back on unnecessary perks.
“He wants expenses to be monitored closely, and any fat trimmed straight away,” the insider revealed.
“He doesn’t want there to be any sense that special perks are being handed out to the Royals,” they added.
“He’s all about the environment, so he’s pushing hard to be front and centre in that respect and has put out this edict that the rest of the family needs to get on board with being as green as possible.
“Private flights and that sort of thing are being frowned on. The days of wasteful spending and overconsumption are ending now that William is at the helm.”
This comes as a report by New Idea Magazine revealed that Charles may abdicate his throne in favour of the Prince of Wales sooner than expected as he struggles with cancer treatment.
They also claimed that while William hoped to take over the throne much later in life, he and his wife Kate Middleton have started preparations to become the next King and Queen of England.
