Kate Middleton has emerged stronger and resilient after going through a challenging year marred by cancer diagnosis.
According to a royal insider, the Princess of Wales has become more optimistic after completing her preventative chemotherapy with unwavering support of her Royal family.
A source close to the revealed that she has been allowed to take things at her own pace, enabling her to get back to the duties when she feels good enough.
“She has been allowed to get back in her own way. She has been able to pace it and do it her way, and that’s great,” the insider told People Magazine.
“Family has seen [Kate] through thick and thin this year,” another added. “There is a sense of optimism going forward.”
Meanwhile, royal biographer Robert Hardman revealed that Kate has still not recovered fully despite completing her preventative chemotherapy.
“We are being encouraged not to look at this as a chapter that’s over and then it’s back to normal, because cancer doesn’t work like that,” the expert said.
“The details remain private but there’s no getting over the reality that it’s an unpredictable disease,” he added.
