It looks like Prince William and Kate Middleton are enjoying the last laugh. That’s because they can’t help but wonder why Meghan Markle thought it would be a good idea for her to pull the plug on her working relationship with the royal family just so she could sell jam in malls all across America.
As many of our loyal readers already know, the Duchess of Sussex has been having a hard time getting her lifestyle brand to launch. As much as Meghan wants the world to think that she’s promoting a very high-end brand, instead her products are being sold by Netflix in malls all across the country and in places like Dallas and Pittsburgh.

If it were up to Meghan, she wouldn’t allow this to happen at all, but at this point, it seems like she doesn’t have much of a say in the matter. Meghan desperately needs her lifestyle brand to find some sort of success, otherwise they are going to end up pulling the plug on their contract with her altogether.
But for the Prince and Princess of Wales, they have seen this coming from a mile away. They knew that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s American fantasy of being California royals wouldn’t last very long.
Apparently, Prince William and Kate Middleton knew all along that Meghan would try to capitalize on her royal connections for as long as possible. But it looks like that streak has clearly ended as no one is interested in buying what Meghan has to offer.
Meghan could have stayed in the UK and made her contributions to the royal family. But instead, she wanted to do things her way. And now it looks like she’s paying the price for decisions that she shouldn’t have made, which is why William and Kate can’t help but get a good chuckle out of it.
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
