It looks like she’s switched teams. Of course, we are talking about Princess Eugenie as there’s strong speculation suggesting that she might no longer be as close with Prince Harry as she used to be before.
Princess Eugenie Is Showing Her Support To Prince William
That’s because she is now showing her full support for the future king of England, Prince William.
In fact, there’s a new report that says both Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall were on hand to support both Prince William and Kate Middleton at a garden party in Buckingham Palace this weekend.
This raised a lot of eyebrows among royal fans and critics on both sides of the pond, as many of them suspected that Princess Eugenie remained loyal to her cousin in America, but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.
A statement from Buckingham Palace even said, “This afternoon, The Prince and Princess of Wales attended a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace, on behalf of The King.”
Princess Eugenie Is Choosing Sides
“Their Royal Highnesses were joined in the gardens by The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, as well as The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.”
There’s also speculation suggesting that Princess Eugenie has chosen sides with the royal family because she doesn’t want to rock the boat with both King Charles and his son Prince William.
As close as she feels she is to Prince Harry, circumstances have certainly changed. She can’t be an ally to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and still carry out royal engagements and make public appearances with the royal family without looking like a hypocrite.
That’s why Eugenie is now showing her loyalty to the royals, even though she might still sympathize with Harry and his situation back in America. But as much as she would like for everyone to get together, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen anytime soon.
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
