HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The cast of Peacock’s new Hawaii-based reality TV show hit the red carpet Sunday night.
A special premiere party for “Oahu Shores” took place at Dave & Buster’s Ala Moana, and included a screening, Q&A, and live music.
The show follows Skye Baker, Alex Fowler, Kaui Goodness, Marcus Hee, Rachael Peterson, Kamalani Pico, Keolu Ramos, and Raven Wood as they navigate life and relationships in the islands.
The debut episode was shot on Oahu and Molokai.
Cast members told HNN’s Billy V last week they were excited for people to see how locals live in Hawaii.
“People think of Hawaii and it’s just, you know, Waikiki and those tourist spots,” said Ramos, a Mililani native. “But I think (the show) is a good representation of how we grew up, what we do for fun.”
All six episodes were released last Thursday on Peacock.
Combined, the cast has had about 30 million views on social media.
