However, the caption read, “A little glimpse behind the curtain at last night’s utterly magic Letters Live @southbankcentre.”
“We are still reeling from the brilliant performers, including Her Majesty Queen Camilla, who took to the stage and raised the roof at the Royal Festival Hall,” it further added.
It is worth noting here that at the star-studded event, Her Majesty met with the Oscar-winning British actress, Olivia Colman, the Sherlock star, Benedict Cumberbatch, and his wife Sophie Hunter, with many others.
Moreover, Queen Camilla took the stage at the live literary event to read a 1952’s letter which was written by the late Queen Mother to the acclaimed British poet Edith Sitwell.
It is pertinent to mention that Her Majesty serves as a patron of the National Literacy Trust.
Notably, the official handle of the British Royal Family also posted the photo of Queen Camilla from the event. “Ready to take to the stage…,” the caption of the post read.
Adding, “This evening, Her Majesty appeared in front of an unsuspecting audience at the Royal Festival Hall, as part of ‘Letters Live’.”
“Each show features a different set of performers, who in turn read extraordinary letters written over the centuries and from around the world,” it concluded.
