Queen Camilla receives approval for major plans amid King’s cancer treatment
Queen Camilla and Prince William appear to be working in tandem as the senior royals are given a major responsibility to take care on behalf of King Charles.
The monarch, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment, has been eager to be closer to his grandchildren despite the friction with Prince Harry.
The Queen Consort and the heir of the throne have “huge weight of responsibility” and they are in regular discussion about how to navigate things, especially now that Prince Harry and Meghan are back in Britain.
“Camilla and William do speak regularly, always about the King’s wellbeing, but more recently about Harry and they are very aligned with their concerns,” an insider revealed to Woman’s Day.
“On money, security and working-royal status, Charles has been consistent, but there’s no doubt he wants to see his grandchildren,” they continued. “Charles is more willing to live with Harry being in the country than William is but cancer and age make ‘see the kids while you can’ a stronger pull for Charles.”
However, Prince William and the Palace approves Camilla’s thoughts on the matter that there has to be a clear line how to proceed with the Sussexes: there should be no leaks. If there is any private detail made public, it’s all over.
“There’s no doubt Camilla and William both carry a huge weight of responsibility with Charles’s health. When he was in hospital, it seemed unbelievable for Camilla that she and William were essentially running the country,” the source explained.
“If his health deteriorates, she knows she’ll have to step in to make decisions for him, which is why it’s so important for her to be in sync with Charles’s decisions, especially regarding Harry
