Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou will be joined by an entirely heavyweight supporting lineup.
The undercard for their fight on October 28 in Saudi Arabia has now been announced, with five further heavyweight clashes confirmed.

These are David Adeleye vs Fabio Wardley, Joseph Parker vs Simon Kean, Martin Bakole vs Carlos Takam, Arslanbek Makhmudov vs Agron Smakici and Moses Itauma against an opponent to be confirmed later.

Wardley vs Adeleye was already known to be planned for this show as the British heavyweight rivals clashed on the red carpet at the press conference earlier this month.

The fight had been ordered as a mandatory defence of Wardley’s (16-0) British heavyweight title, but will now take place without the belt at stake for Adeleye (12-0) to win as the BBBofC (British Boxing Board of Control) do not sanction titles on overseas shows.

Wardley said: “I’ve got a clean bill of health. Nothing has changed. I am still feeling strong, moving hard, and hitting new numbers.

“I don’t know how to quantify how my desire to win by knockout has increased after what happened but, yes, substantially. Massively, because I am a professional person and I like to act like a professional, but if you want to go early, then that’s fine, and I am ready to go at any minute.

“When those situations occur, all it does is fuel the fire more. All you have done is made it worse for yourself. You’ve made me train harder, you’ve made me work for it more, you’ve made me want it more.”

Adeleye said: “I’m really looking forward to competing on the global stage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

“Everywhere I go, people are talking about this fight. I intend to put on a show and display why I’m the best young heavyweight out there.”

Former WBO heavyweight world champion Parker (32-3) trains alongside Fury and will be continuing his comeback following his defeat to Joe Joyce in 2022.

Parker will face Kean (23-1) after beating Jack Massey and Faiga Opelu earlier in 2023.

Highly regarded contender Martin Bakole (19-1) is set to face heavyweight veteran Carlos Takam (40-7-1).

Unbeaten Russian-Canadian Arslanbek Makhmudov (17-0) will look to continue his run against Agron Smakici (19-2).

And British prospect Moses Itauma (5-0) is set for the next bout in his progression against an opponent to be named later.
