Max Verstappen can’t get enough of racing even during the Formula 1 winter break. The three-time World Champion will be on the grid of the first round of the online ‘Real Racers Never Quit’ championship with sim team Redline on Tuesday.
The online competition ‘Real Racers Never Quit’ was created in 2020 as a replacement for the missed races during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Last year, a sim race was also organised during the cancellation of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. This edition consisted of four races, in which Max Verstappen competed and won one, while also suffering from three breakdowns.
Verstappen will once again compete in this new edition with Redline’s team. The 2024 version will consist of six rounds, with the first taking place on Tuesday, January 16, at 8 PM CET.
The race can be seen on the online streaming platform Twitch. The drivers will drive three different types of cars as part of the competition.
