The Scot has been displayed on Dunblane’s tennis club wall with an amazing 20 foot painting

Tennis legend Andy Murray has been honoured with a wall mural in his hometown of Dunblane, Scotland. The 20 foot piece was created at the town’s tennis club and comes via a Tennis Channel initiative, in collaboration with creative productive agency ‘Sift’. It displays the Scot roaring and celebrating with a vintage Murray fist pump, and the words:

“Sir Andy. Warrior. Legend.”

The painting seeks to celebrate the 3-time major winner’s incredible career, which seen him win two Wimbledon titles, one US Open title, 41 weeks at No 1, 14 Masters 1000 titles, and two Olympic gold medals.

Murray, aged 37, announced his retirement earlier this year, and played his final professional match at the Paris Olympic Games in the men’s doubles category, alongside fellow Brit Dan Evans. The pair made the quarter-finals, before losing out to the Americans Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul.
