Andy Murray is set to compete at the Australian Open next week after returning from another spell of injury recovery.
The former World No 1 will be in action down under as he represents the UK alongside Cam Norrie, Dan Evans, Emma Raducanu and Katie Boulter.
Murray’s build-up to the tournament has not gone how he would like with a first-round loss to Grigor Dmitrov at the Brisbane International ending his preparation at the first hurdle.
The 36-year-old is just returning from yet another injury lay-off but he will still be aiming to put in a good showing in Australia.
Andy Murray next match
Murray’s focus is now solely on the Australian Open following his disappointing elimination from the Brisbane International last week.
He has no more scheduled games and the Scot will now be preparing for the major tournament action to get underway.
His first opponent is yet to be confirmed with the draw set to take place on Thursday.
Following the draw, Murray will find out whether he will be playing on the opening day on Sunday, January 14 or whether he will begin his tournament on Monday, January 15.
Each of Murray’s matches will be broadcast live on Eurosport in the UK.
