Throughout his years as a professional player, the Swiss maestro not only collected multiple accolades and recognitions but also made many fall in love with the game. Once a college champion, the 20-year-old stunned everyone with his heroics at the US Open where he managed to make his way into the final 4. To add cherry to the cake, seeing his exceptional rise in form, Federer signed him with On Running, a company backed by him. Now, in a recent revelation, the young American came ahead and shattered words of admiration for the Swiss legend.

Earlier during the week, the rising American sensation showed up at an event where he discussed his life and tennis upbringing. The 20-year-old revealed that he took to tennis at a very young age and without hesitation revealed that his favorite player was none other than Federer. During the interview, he talked about the Swiss legend and how he mastered his appearance.
Shelton said, “Roger is one of those guys who can do it all. He can do it on the court, he can do it off the court, he can do it at the Met Gala, he can do it at Wimbledon.”
Meanwhile, Federer was impressed by the rise of Shelton this season and has spoken highly about him. Additionally, Shelton joined Federer’s brand, On, earlier this year and has had a successful season, much to his liking.
Shelton and Federer have never faced off on the tennis court. But the understanding between the two is next to none. Shelton also went on to join Federer’s brand, On, and subsequently, he received a big boost to his self-confidence.

Earlier this year, the American star, Shelton, felt grateful to have joined On as an ambassador. It was a game-changing move for him and it showed in his brilliant performances. During an interview, he opened up about how his transition in On was.
Talking about the collaboration, Shelton said, “They never put any pressure on me to be in On shoes or On clothes right away if I wasn’t comfortable competing in them.”
