Prince Harry settled his long-running lawsuit against UK tabloid publisher.
Royal fans have expressed their views after Prince Harry won a lawsuit against NGN publishers, calling the duke ‘King Harry.’
Prince Harry’s uncle Charles Spencer took to Instagram and shared a BBC report with a heartfelt statement
He said, “It takes an enormous amount of guts to take on major media organisations like this, and incredible tenacity to win against them.
“It’s wonderful that Harry also secured an apology for his mother – she would be immensely touched by this, I’m sure, and also rightly proud. Well done indeed.”
Reacting to it, one royal fan commented, “Congratulations Harry!”
Another said, “Good for you Harry! Diana should be very proud of you!”
“Harry has strong principles, tenacity and integrity. My goodness this whole thing took time, but he won on behalf of so many other victims. Diana would be so proud #goodkingharry”
Prince Harry settled Wednesday his long-running lawsuit against UK tabloid publisher, which agreed to pay him “substantial damages” after admitting intruding into his private life, including by hacking his phone.
The NGN issued a wide-ranging apology and admission of wrongdoing, in what Harry´s lawyer called “a monumental victory” that underlined the need for further probes.
The publisher apologised to him for the impact of the “serious intrusion” into the private life of his late mother Diana, Princess of Wales, particularly when he was younger.
