The long wait is finally over. Race week is here. The Australian Grand Prix will kickstart the 2025 F1 season this weekend as cars return to the track at the iconic Albert Park street circuit.
Lando Norris and McLaren are the title favourites heading into the new season after a strong pre-season test in Bahrain, but the Brit will face a number of challengers. One of these could be his team-mate, Oscar Piastri, who won two Grands Prix during his sophomore year and completed every lap over the 24 events.
Elsewhere, Ferrari duo Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc are both targeting the two World Championships, although Ferrari’s radical car design overhaul may work against that ambition early in the year. Max Verstappen and George Russell will also be aiming for glory in 2025.
