FIFA World Cup volunteer center opens in Center City Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — The countdown is on for the FIFA World Cup 26 in Philadelphia.

The Action Cam was on the scene as the volunteer center opened in Center City on Wednesday.

The grand opening featured the new space, and a preview of the exclusive FIFA museum.

The new building at the Fashion District Philadelphia on Market Street will be the hub for volunteer team tryouts, training, accreditation, uniform pickup and more.

Philadelphia is one of the 16 host cities for next year’s FIFA World Cup in June and July.
