A golf fan stepped in on the 3rd hole during the final round of the RBC Canadian Open to replace Tiger Woods' former caddie Mike 'Fluff' Cowan.

A golf fan replaced Tiger Woods’ former caddie Mike ‘Fluff’ Cowan during the final round of the RBC Canadian Open.

Only he ended up being one of four caddies during Pan’s round!
Cowan, who is now the regular caddie of one-time PGA Tour winner CT Pan, went down injured on the 3rd hole at Hamilton Golf & Country Club.
The commentary box said that Cowan, who was Woods’ first professional caddie, fell down the hill on the par-4 3rd and therefore needed to be replaced for Pan.

Cowan is thankfully okay.
With none of Pan’s team available to step in at the time, a fan took it upon himself to pull on the caddie bib and take on looping duty.

The PGA Tour pro shook hands with his new caddie on the 3rd green.
Things got off to a slightly rocky start for the new stand-in caddie as he picked up the bag and then dropped the putter head cover.
Former PGA Tour pro Robert Damron then jokingly grilled the caddie when saying ‘he might need to loosen the straps on the bib just a tad’.

It then came to light two holes later that a local caddie stepped in to replace the fan on the 5th hole.

By the time Pan reached the turn, he then had his fourth caddie of the day pick up the bag courtesy of PGA Tour pro Paul Barjon’s caddie.

The pressure was somewhat off for Pan’s stand-in caddies as he was already well down the leaderboard.

However, every shot counts in the FedEx Cup, especially for Pan who currently looks on from outside the top 100 in the season-long race.

Cowan is best remembered for having caddied for Woods when he won his maiden major title at the 1997 Masters.

Tiger Woods captured a record-breaking 12-shot victory at Augusta National that week.
Cowan and Woods teamed up together for eight titles on the PGA Tour, before Cowan was let go in 1998.
He went on to join Jim Furyk’s bag, while Woods picked up Steve Williams.

Cowan famously checked the wind for Woods back in the day when using his cigarette.

Something Charley Hull may be trying this week.
