After weeks of speculation, Tiger Woods confirmed his relationship with Vanessa Trump earlier this week with photos on his X account.
According to the Daily Mail, Woods initially wanted to keep the relationship private. But rumors began to spread through The Benjamin School, a private institution that the children of both Woods and Vanessa attend.
“He knew it would be a huge story when it came out,” a “member of [Woods’] inner circle” told the Daily Mail. “And he didn’t exactly love it. But obviously Tiger dating a Trump is always going to make headlines, which is exactly what he wanted to avoid.”
“Benjamin is like a small community and there’s nothing that rich people like to do more than gossip about each other. Frankly, I’m surprised that it was secret for so long.”
Vanessa and Woods both live in Palm Beach. Vanessa’s daughter, Kai Trump, and Woods’ children Charlie and Sam all attend The Benjamin School.
Vanessa and Donald Trump Jr. were married for 13 years before their divorce in 2018.
