Daniil Medvedev’s wife Daria recently shared pictures of their daughter Alisa while visiting Central Park Zoo, US. The Russian is all set to begin his campaign at the 2024 US Open.
Medvedev and his wife Daria got married in 2018 and had their first child in 2022, Alisa. Daria and Alisa have been traveling along with the World No. 5 all around the world for various tournaments.
The young family have traveled together to the US for the final Grand Slam of the season. Recently, Medvedev’s wife shared glimpses of their daughter from New York. In one picture, Alisa can be seen eating. In another, she can be seen taking in the views at Central Park Zoo.
Medvedev gushed about his daughter during a media interaction at the 2024 Miami Open. The Russian talked about the sacrifice his wife, Daria, makes so that the family can be together.
“Me, I have to practice less somewhere, or maybe during the tournament I just have to find the time. Before I would be in full tennis mode. Now, I have to find the balance to see my daughter also, otherwise it’s not a good life, I would say! I’m trying. I think I’m doing well, but I’m always trying to find this balance,” he said.

Daniil Medvedev has begun his preparation for the upcoming US Open. He practiced with compatriot Karen Khachanov at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

The US Open is the most successful Slam for the Russian as he won his only Grand Slam at Flushing Meadows. Medvedev won the title in 2021, defeating Novak Djokovic in the final, ending his bid for the Calender Slam.
The World No. 4 has reached the final on two more occasions, in 2019 and 2023, losing to Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic respectively. He would be looking to add one more Major title to his CV, after having fallen short already at the 2024 Australian Open.
