Kate and Prince William have issued a new statement just hours after the Princess of Wales’s attendance at a special event was confirmed.
Princess Kate will host her fourth Together at Christmas Carol Service at Westminster Abbey on December 6.
The festive celebration will bring together 1,600 people who have dedicated themselves to supporting others in their communities.
Members of the Royal Family, including Kate’s three young children, are expected to join the gathering, which is supported by The Royal Foundation and spearheaded by the Princess of Wales.
Kate and William have now shared a new message on their social media account regarding the event.
The couple wrote: “Something exciting is coming.
“The invitations are fresh off the press for this year’s Together At Christmas Carol Service, which will be returning to Westminster Abbey on Friday 6 December.
“We can’t wait for you to join us too! Tune in on @ITV and @ITVX on Christmas Eve.”

The gathering will include those who have supported others through their work, personal relationships, or volunteer efforts, alongside recognisable faces who have demonstrated the power of helping others thrive.
The world-renowned Westminster Abbey choir will perform some of the nation’s most beloved carols during the service.
The Westminster Abbey service has been developed as a co-production between The Royal Foundation and BBC Studios Events Productions.
Viewers can watch the special programme on ITV1 and ITVX on Christmas Eve.
