If you’ve ever wanted to work for the British royal family, or dreamed Kate Middleton and Prince William were your bosses, we regret to inform you that you just missed out on your chance to take on the role of The Royal Foundation’s chief communications officer.
According to the Daily Mail, earlier this month, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hired a London-based woman by the name of Edwina Iddles to help them manage The Royal Foundation’s communication.
The publication reports that Iddles began her career as an assistant to Conservative Party MP, Caroline Dinenage, before moving to the role of press officer for the Department of Energy and Climate Change, followed by the Department for Exiting the European Union, then finally, the Home Office.
Iddles, who per her Linkedin profile, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from King’s College, is now the chief communications officer for The Royal Foundation, a charitable foundation that looks to assist in the areas of wildlife conservation, cyberbullying and military support—to name a few.
Shortly after this news broke, Kate Middleton stepped out in London for a visit to Stockwell Gardens Nursery and Pre-School. Dressed in black skinny jeans and a high-neck sweater from Sézane, the duchess debuted an ensemble that proved far more comfortable and casual than what she is usually seen wearing.
Middleton paired the combo with a chic overcoat and per US Vogue, Aquatalia’s Fallon Dry boots in suede. Complete with a fresh blow wave, the duchess looked picture-perfect for the outing that saw her speak “to teachers, staff and parents about the [five big questions] survey before joining chefs and apprentices in the kitchen to talk about the importance of good, nutritious food for child development,” per an Instagram post from Kensington Royal.
