Kate Middleton makes plea to Prince William after surprising ‘meeting’
Kate Middleton urges Prince William to take action on crucial matter amid growing tensions
Kate Middleton, who has reportedly been making big changes in the way things are done in the royal family, is putting her foot down over a crucial matter ongoing from the past few years.
The Princess of Wales had shared a close bond with her brother-in-law Prince Harry as they were always appeared jovial in each other’s company during royal engagements. Moreover, Kate had admitted to being grateful to Harry’s help during her early days of marriage to William and Harry called her a “sister he never had”.
The relationship between Harry and the royal family has been strained since he exited the royal family in 2020 with his wife Meghan Markle. The Duke has since been out of contact with the Wales, especially after his book Spare left the royals devastated.
Following Kate’s cancer journey last year, she has been pondering over ending the rift between William and Kate. But now, her determination to speed up reconciliations have increased amid speculations over a secret meeting that took place in Mustique.
Prince William and Kate visited the Caribbean Island last month for their half-term holidays. According to a report by Closer Magazine, the future Queen had invited Harry for a brief visit, which left her even more heartbroken than before.
‘Kate is desperate for the brothers to make peace and find a way that Harry can come back into the fold,” the insider told the outlet. “Kate was a little more subdued when Harry left – making it clear how torn she felt between wanting to reconcile with Harry and being happy he came and of course, her loyalty and love for William.”
The insider went on to claim that after the visit, Kate urged to William that “‘enough is enough’ and that he really has to try to work towards forgiving his brother.”
While there have been speculations of Kate acting as a mediator between Harry and William, another source close to Prince Harry dismissed the claims that the meeting had ever occurred.
