Princess Kate is expected to mark a special occasion with beloved members of her family after the Waleses reportedly declined King Charles’ invitation.
There are speculations that the future Queen’s mother, Carole, and sister, Pippa Middleton might join Kate and Prince William at their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall, to celebrate Easter.
For the unversed, King Charles, Queen Camilla and key royals will mark the festival with a traditional gathering at Windsor Castle.
However, the Prince and Princess of Wales decided to skip the royal event in order to “enjoy some extended time as a family” with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
“They are choosing to spend time together as a family before the children go back to school,” the Mirror reported.
It is pertinent to note that William and Kate missed last year’s service as well due to Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis.
The source claimed that the Prince of Wales prior informed the King about his family’s absence from the service, and the request was also understood by the monarch.
Now, it has been said that the Middletons could reunite with the Waleses for an intimate celebration.
