King Charles rewards Kate Middleton with big honour over her commitment to Royals
King Charles bestowed a rare Royal accolade on Kate Middleton, valuing her commitment to the Royal family, a royal expert has revealed.
According to Christopher Andersen, the Princess of Wales impressed King Charles with her “grace and grit,” leaving him no option but to reward her with a huge honour.
Kate was appointed a Royal Companion of the Order of the Companions of Honour in 2024, which is considered a “distinguished royal appointment,” per GB News.
Founded by King George V in 1917, the order “recognises accomplishments in art, science, medicine, and public service,” they added.
Speaking on the matter, Andersen said, “Because of their shared cancer battle, Kate and the King have strengthened their bond in ways neither could have imagined.”
“King Charles was so impressed with her grace and grit that he bestowed a singular honour on Kate, making her a Royal Companion of Honour, an unmistakable sign of his faith in her ability to help carry the monarchy forward,” he added.
Echoing same sentiments, royal commentator Helena Chard shared with the publication, “King Charles is extremely fond and proud of his daughter-in-law.”
“I believe he is one of her biggest fans. They share similar passions, and he recognises her wow factor, empathy and resilience,” she added.
