With the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix now on the horizon, the F1 world is starting to click into gear with another potentially dazzling spectacle on the cards for the sport’s return to Imola. Lando Norris won in Miami last time out ahead of Max Verstappen, and the McLaren star will be looking to go back-to-back on Sunday.

In the Red Bull camp, the focus will be on returning to winning ways. Verstappen has claimed all six available pole positions this season, but his pace on race day in Miami will be of concern to the reigning champions with McLaren boasting the fastest package after implementing their latest upgrade package.

Ferrari could also be in the mix this weekend. The Italian constructor was forced to hang back in the shadows in Miami with Charles Leclerc’s podium going under the radar compared to Norris’ win, but with a major upgrade package hitting the car for the trip to Imola, improvements seem likely.

Unfortunately for Mercedes, it is unlikely that they will join the fight anytime soon. The Silver Arrows are trying not to be dragged into battles with Haas and VCARB as they navigate a midfield no-mans-land ahead of Aston Martin in the standings.
