King Charles reportedly rooting for Meghan Markle’s Netflix cooking show success
Meghan Markle has received unexpected support from King Charles as the monarch roots for the Duchess’ new Netflix show to succeed.
According to an new report, Charles hopes With Love, Meghan does well so that it could enable the Sussexes to remain financially independent.
Speaking on the matter, royal experts noted that Charles wants to see Harry and Meghan achieve professional success and stability outside of their royal roles.
In a conversation with Fox News, royal broadcaster Helena Chard said she believes the cancer-stricken King is rooting for the success of the show.
“He hopes that Harry and Meghan remain self-sufficient, financially afloat and do not come knocking at his door,” she said.
To this, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield agreed, saying, “I do know that the King is eager for Harry and Meghan to find purpose and professional success.”
“He believes they might move beyond their bitterness if they feel like they are achieving their goals,” she added.
Meghan’s show is set to be released on January 15th on Netflix.
