Meghan Markle wants Prince Harry to put his attention on other things, and “the harsh reality is that’s more likely now”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s long-awaited Netflix documentary, Polo, has been released – and, contrary to predictions, the California-based royal couple do make a cameo appearance in the fifth and final episode.
The Polo was filmed this year where the Prince can be seen participating in a charity game for the organisation he co-founded, Sentebale.
However, the Polo has so far failed to impress fans or critics, with reviews calling the program “unintentionally hilarious” and boring.
Amid these reports, insiders have disclosed Meghan Markle’s true feelings about Harry playing polo.
The royal sources said, “Polo is Harry’s life, he put his heart and soul into this show and had huge hopes for it so the fact that it’s getting such terrible reviews has hit him very hard.”
“Meghan is trying to be understanding but apparently, she’s somewhat relieved because she’s seeing this as an opportunity to convince Harry he should put more of his focus on other hobbies,” the insider said and added “She’d much rather he spends his free time surfing and hiking.”
The royal insiders further claimed, “Obviously, she can’t ban Harry from playing polo, but it’s no secret she’d rather it not be front and centre in their lives.
“She’s not expecting him to totally move on from polo, but she’d like him to dial it back and put his attention on other things, and the harsh reality is that’s more likely now.”
