Meghan Markle has received a scathing warning from a royal expert over her new Netflix cooking show, With Love, Meghan.
According to royal expert Bronte Coy, the Duchess of Sussex has raised concerns about the authenticity of the show by trying to be like the Kardashians.
Speaking with The Sun, Coy noted that the trailer for the show was disappointing because it didn’t feature Meghan in her own home, which she believes would have been more authentic.
“For once it does feel like a new chapter,” Coy said. “The idea that after all these years and everything that’s happened, to come back to that Hollywood, influencer, Hollywood entertainment reality TV space is ironic.”
However, she said that the teaser of the show “disappointed” her. “The fact it’s not filmed in their house disappointed me because I think one of their major issues reputationally, Harry and Meghan, particularly Meghan, is authenticity.”
“I mean the Kardashians film in different houses so that’s common place but it’s that idea of authenticity,” she added. “I think that’s an unfortunate one.”
