Let’s just say that to Meghan Markle and her projects, it seems like the royal family always gets in the way, either directly or indirectly.
In fact, there’s heavy speculation suggesting King Charles’ possible death in the coming weeks or months ahead might destroy Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand altogether.
Meghan Markle’s Success Blocked By King Charles
It was reported earlier in the month that King Charles was hospitalized because of his ongoing battle with cancer. As of press time, Buckingham Palace has not identified what kind of cancer the King of England has been diagnosed with.
But considering his age and the decline in his health, there are a lot of people who think that the palace might be forced to make an announcement about either his death or the possibility of King Charles abdicating from the throne sooner than expected.
And for Meghan Markle, this is absolutely devastating news. The last thing she needs is for the royal family to bump her out of the headlines when she’s been doing everything possible to promote her new lifestyle brand, As Ever.
But then again, this isn’t the first time that this has happened. Meghan initially tried to promote her brand as American Riviera Orchard back in March 2024. But it was the same time that Kate Middleton announced that she was diagnosed with cancer, too.
What’s Next For The Duchess Of Sussex?
The Duchess of Sussex knew at the time that it would have looked incredibly insensitive of her to promote her brand at the time when the royal family was dealing with two major health crises at one time. But fast-forward to the present time, and Meghan is dealing with the same problem once again.
This time around, however, she’s not going to survive another hit to her lifestyle brand. She’s had a hard time kick-starting it as it is and the possible death of her father-in-law will just kick it to the ground altogether.
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
