Novak Djokovic is set to return to the court at the ATP Finals on Tuesday, presenting him with an opportunity to match another extraordinary achievement. He will face Jannik Sinner in the last match of the day.
The 24-time Grand Slam winner notched up his 19th consecutive ATP Tour win on Sunday when he beat Holger Rune in his opening match at the season-ending tournament and he will be looking to make it 20-0 when he faces Sinner.

Djokovic is unbeaten at Tour level since he lost the Wimbledon final against Carlos Alcaraz in five sets back in July. Since then he has won the Cincinnati Open, US Open, a singles rubber for Serbia at the Davis Cup Finals knockout phase, the Paris Masters and his opening match at the ATP Finals.

If Djokovic does go on to beat Sinner at Pala Alpitour, then it will be the ninth time in his career that he has achieved a 20-match winning streak. It will see him draw level with Jimmy Connors.
