Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, delight royal fans with special appearance

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis joined Princess Kate and Prince William for key event

Kate Middleton and Prince William’s three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, delighted royal fans with a surprise appearance at the celebrations for the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

This marked the first time the royal siblings appeared together in public since Christmas Day. They were joined by their parents, King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince Edward, Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Anne, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, and Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent.

On May 5, most of today’s working royals gathered at the Queen Victoria Memorial outside Buckingham Palace. This marks the start of events held in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of VE Day—Victory in Europe Day.

This comes after William and Kate decided to skip the Easter church service last month and spent the holiday with their kids in Norfolk.

The royals will see a procession featuring 1,300 members of the Armed Forces. They will later enjoy a flypast of iconic Royal Air Force planes from the palace balcony, which will be followed by a tea party hosted by King Charles for the last surviving heroes of the conflict and their families.

The children were full of energy during the festivities, with Charlotte leaning over to whisper something that made Louis break into a grin—showing off the gap-toothed smile recently seen in his 7th birthday portraits, released on April 23.

Fresh off her own birthday weekend on May 2, Charlotte kept the celebrations going with a special day off school to mark the milestone.
