British royal family news divulges that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are on a downward spiral of dwindling popularity. On the cusp of Grifter’s new Netflix cooking show some are saying this is their last chance to have any hope of being relevant.
On pundit has gone so far as to say that the Duke and Duchess of UnSussexful are living “on borrowed time.”
Are the Duke and Duchess On Borrowed Time?
Netflix threw millions of unearned dollars at the Douche and Douchess of Sussex in 2020. They have little to show for it, except egg on the face and a gazillion negative comments on the YouTube preview trailer for the March 4 offering, “With Love, Meghan.”
Industry insiders think that the show must be a hit in order for the couple’s contract to be renewed. After accepting Netflix’s stupendous offer, the traitors have “produced one major success and three less impressive offerings” according to GB News.
Will Meghan and Harry Ever Be Relevant?
Their reality show “Harry & Meghan” attracted nearly 29 million households in its first four days but nothing else they’ve touched has been as successful.
Netflix has outright cancelled at least one of Meghan’s pet projects, Pearl, a cartoon said to be about her childhood.
Their other shows–Polo, Live to Lead, and Heart of Invictus all underperformed. A source told the Times that “There’s a feeling that Netflix hasn’t got great value for money [from the Sussexes].”
However, Netflix’s chief content officer Bela Bajaria continues to express hope about Meghan’s cooking show while the source maintains that “The word bandied around internally is ‘nightmare.”
Are Meghan and Harry a Nightmare?
In February Bajaria stated that Netflix was “really excited” to continue a partnership with the pair and said that Meghan’s cooking show is “such a great take on a lifestyle show” highlighting its ties to “California, Montecito and nature.”
Not everyone is as enthused. One poster noted “Can’t see this going anywhere, anybody can put flowers onto doughnuts and make a Victoria sponge (god even kids do that at school) No !!!
Far way over the top i’e expensive cookware/ top chefs, mega rich guests popping in, very expensive borrowed kitchen, then who wears thousands of pounds worth of clothes and jewelry while elevating there dishes in the kitchen, then where’s the hygiene,, surely you’ll eat her hair in what ever TIE your hair up.
You’ve wasted your time and money Netflix, call it a day. NO not for me” and another wrote “hello. don’t think the majority of the UK don’t give a fudge about the Sussexes or the Sussex squad!!
