Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly been approached by Kate and William
Prince William and Princess Kate reportedly expressed their desire to meet with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s kids.
Speaking to The Mirror, royal expert Tom Quinn suggested that the Prince and Princess of Wales are open to bury the hatchet with the Sussexes.
According to him, they asked Harry to bring Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to the UK the next time he visits the country.
However, Meghan Markle is reluctant to do so, owing to security threats and negative perception of the British public towards her and their children.
“William and Kate have suggested that Meghan and Harry bring the children and that the two couples and their families try to make up,” shared Quinn, “but the suggestion is not leading anywhere so far.”
The Duke of Sussex is set to return to his home country in May to attend St. Paul’s Cathedral service in honour of 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
In a copy of schedule obtained by the Daily Express, both Harry and Meghan are listed as guests; the latter’s name is pencilled as TBC, i.e., to be confirmed.
A source claimed though the Spare author is hoping for cancer-stricken King Charles to meet his grandchildren on the visit, their attendance solely depends on that of Meghan’s, who is said to be “anxious” about returning to England.
