Prince William will travel to Paris tomorrow, Saturday December 7 to attend the ceremony marking the reopening of Notre-Dame Cathedral.

Royal expert Kate Mansey took to X, formerly Twitter handle and shared Kensington Palace statement.

She tweeted, “EXCLUSIVE: The Prince of Wales will join Donald Trump and dozens of world leaders in Paris tomorrow for the reopening ceremony of Notre Dame cathedral.”

Another royal expert Richard Palmer also took to X and tweeted, “The Prince of Wales will travel to Paris tomorrow to attend the ceremony marking the reopening of Notre-Dame Cathedral.

“He’s travelling at the request of the Government to represent the United Kingdom.”

Meanwhile, in her report for The Times, Kate Mansey said Prince William will represent his father King Charles at gathering of world leaders to celebrate the completion of work to restore the cathedral after a fire in 2019.

The report further says the Prince of Wales has accepted an invitation from President Macron of France to visit the cathedral.

The publication reported William’s “appearance at such big world event will underline his growing role as a statesman, which has been described by aides as ‘a golden thread’ running through his work.”
