Prince William and Harry are currently not on speaking terms.
Prince William has issued a major statement after his estranged brother dramatically settled his long-running lawsuit against UK tabloid publisher, which agreed to pay him “substantial damages.”
The NGN issued a wide-ranging apology and admission of wrongdoing, in what Harry´s lawyer called “a monumental victory” that underlined the need for further probes.
The publisher notably apologised to Harry for the impact of the “serious intrusion” into the private life of his late mother Diana, Princess of Wales, “in particular during his younger years”.
According to Reuters, sources familiar with the deal said the settlement totalled more than 10 million pounds ($12.33 million), mostly in legal fees.
Following Prince Harry and NGN deal, Kensington Palace shared William’s photos from his latest engagement saying “Exploring the future, and the past, of Toxteth today!”
The statement further reads, “Learning more about the history of the area, and the strong links between Wales and Liverpool at The Welsh Streets.
“After starting the day at Cycle of Life, a brilliant organisation supporting young people in the local community, improving their physical and mental health through cycling, and creating job opportunities too.”
