Prince William's past residence revealed to have 'leisure' facilities

Prince William has had a residence in Sandhurst too.
Prince William’s past accommodation has been revealed.

Despite the royal, who is next in line to the throne, being known for his residence in London, the Grand Kensington Palace or his Windsor home, Adelaide Cottage, he did previously live in a rather low-key residence, as per HELLO! Magazine.

This particular place was William’s military academy in Sandhurst, about which, on the British Army website, reservist Jen, who also had basic training there described the residence even revealing that it has “leisure centre loos and showers.”

The revelation came in response to an inquiry over what the place was like, over which Jen penned, “Accommodation at Sandhurst is good. You spend your first term in Old College (the big white building that you see in all the Sandhurst Pictures) and usually you’d have your own room.”

She also explained how a room there has “a single bed, desk, cupboard, drawers etc” that comes with the much feasible facility of “free wifi.”

Jen continued, “Some of the boys sometimes have to share (i.e. two to a room) but not always – depending on the numbers in the intake.”

“There’s a bathroom for the females and a bathroom for the guys. These are much like you’d get in a leisure centre (loos and showers) and there’s also a couple of baths in their own cubicles too,” she added describing the sanitary facilities.

However, it may be safe to assume that Prince William might have just had some different facilities and his own room for security reasons.
