Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu are set to once again step onto the court together in a mixed doubles exhibition, ‘A Racquet at The Rock’ on Sunday, 7th December. The duo will be joined by American pair Frances Tiafoe and Amanda Anisimova in what is set to be a fascinating clash.
All four have had recent expeditions in mixed doubles, playing in the revamped version at the US Open. Alcaraz and Raducanu were think in the spotlight ahead of their first match in Flushing Meadows. Unfortunately, they could not rise to the expectation hung perilously high by the media and fans, losing their opening matchup to Jack Draper and Jessica Pegula.
Anisimova and Tiafoe also failed to get their campaigns in New York off and running. Teamed up with Holger Rune, the Dane and Anisimova by Ben Shelton and Taylor Townsend. Tiafoe was partnered with Australian Open champion Madison Keys, but even she could not produce the good to get past eventual finalists Casper Ruus and Iga Swiatek.
All of them will be hoping for better result in the upcoming exhibition at the Prudential Center, New Jersey. Along with the doubles, there will be a brace of singles ties. Alcaraz will take on Tiafoe, while Anisimova and Raducanu will lock horns.
