Jos Verstappen is suffering from health problems
The last Formula One season left Max Verstappen as the undisputed three-time champion and the man to beat for next year, but it hasn’t all been plain sailing for the Red Bull driver, who has had to deal with family problems, namely with his father, Jos Verstappen.

Dutch F1 media outlet ‘Formule One’ was chosen by Jos Verstappen to confess that during the season he went under the knife and underwent heart surgery.
But the surgery that the three-time Formula One champion’s father underwent was on his heart, and it always comes with complications, so Jos Verstappen commented: “Any heart operation is nerve-wracking because you depend on other people and in some cases things can go wrong. But fortunately, in my case, they found the problem and now I feel new again.
“This kind of event makes you reflect and appreciate more what you have in your life. I have a beautiful family and I would like to spend as much time as possible with them,” he reflected on his current life as the career manager of his son Max.
