The tennis great shared a string of fun photos to Instagram on Saturday.
Serena Williams is enjoying a much-deserved getaway!
The tennis great, 42, shared a carousel of vacation pictures on Instagram on Saturday, showing her spending time outdoors and striking a few poses in the process.
“When someone tells you to ‘go take a hike …,'” Williams jokingly captioned the images, which included shots of her standing in front of picturesque island scenery.

While Williams herself didn’t make her destination clear in the post, she did strike a few poses on a wooden footbridge, on a cliff overlooking a stunning body of water and while sitting on a bench surrounded by greenery. The final shot in the carousel showed a view from high up, with lush green trees in the foreground and the turquoise sea in the distance.
Some fans in the comments section even asked if Williams was enjoying her time in the Bahamas — believing her to be on the Caribbean island based on the blue water and scenery in the photos.
The tennis superstar, who wore a black Nike zip-up and leggings, as well as a white pair of Nike trainers, finished off her look with stylish black sunglasses for the winter trip.
Back in August, Williams and husband Alexis Ohanian welcomed their second baby girl Adira River Ohanian, announcing the news on social media with a touching family photo.
Ohanian, 40, shared the introductory baby photos — which also featured their 6-year-old Olympia — to his own Instagram page, where he wrote that he was “feeling grateful” for their family’s latest addition.
“I’m grateful to report our house is teaming [sic] with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama. Feeling grateful. @serenawilliams, you’ve now given me another incomparable gift — you’re the GMOAT,” he wrote.
“Thanks to all the amazing medical staff who took care of my wife & our daughter 🙏 I’ll never forget the moment I introduced @olympiaohanian to her baby sister.”
Since the birth of her infant child, Williams has been candid about her motherhood journey on social media, from a behind-the-scenes look at an “ab muscle” workout to noting that her life was “not as glamorous as you think” as she pumped breast milk on TikTok following a red-carpet event.
Earlier in the month, the recently retired tennis pro detailed on Instagram that she even donated extra breast milk during a trip to New York.
“After going through a screening I was able to donate it instead of taking the milk home,” Williams captioned an Instagram video. “I know so many amazing women that adopt or are unable to make milk. It felt amazing. BTW Someone out there is getting some super soldier milk. 🤭.”
“It’ll be anonymous, but super excited to just help in some way,” she was heard saying in the clip.
