After Max Verstappen got back to winning ways in Emilia Romagna, attention has now turned to this weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix. Lando Norris has emerged as his closest challenger, with the McLaren man following up his maiden win in Miami by finishing second in Imola.

Mercedes have been able to reflect on a slight improvement last week, with Lewis Hamilton and George Russell finishing in P6 and P7 respectively. But as the seven-time world champion prepares to join Ferrari at the end of 2024, Toto Wolff has seemingly narrowed the candidates to replace him down to two.
Carlos Sainz is also yet to finalise his future. The Spaniard has attracted interest from a host of teams, and is linked with the new Audi team when they take over Sauber in 2026.

Off the track, the A-list celebrities are expected in Monaco this weekend. The race is famous for attracting big names to the stands, with Conor McGregor one star in attendance last year.
