Golf icon Tiger Woods is believed to be dating former model Vanessa Trump, who was previously married to Donald Trump Jr. – the son of U.S. President Donald Trump
It’s claimed Tiger Woods’ ex-wife Eline Nordegren was surprised by news of his alleged relationship with Vanessa Trump.
Woods and Trump – who was previously married to Donald Trump Jr. – have reportedly been together since Thanksgiving and were spotted together at the Genesis Invitational recently. It’s believed they became romantically involved given their close proximity, with both of them living in Florida’s Palm Beach enclave.
Last month, at the PGA Tour’s Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines in California, Woods and Trump were pictured arriving together. Trump also took daughter Kai to watch a round of TGL – which was co-founded by Woods and Rory McIlroy – at Palm Beach State College’s state-of-the-art SoFi Center.
Amid a complicated past, Woods shares two children with Nordegren: daughter Sam and son Charlie. The pair were married from 2004 to 2010 and are on amicable terms, but Nordegren was reportedly still taken aback by the news that her ex-husband is seeing Trump.
According to the Daily Mail, a source revealed Nordegren saw the funny side of the situation after Woods allegedly called her to reveal his new romance. The insider said: “Her response at first was like, ‘Seriously? A Trump? For real?’ She was more amused than anything. But she really quickly just accepted it.
“They’re not the type to give each other their blessing per se, but they keep each other in the loop with anyone who is going to spend any amount of time around the kids. Elin isn’t one to react to things emotionally. So she just processed the information and wished them well.”
Back in March 2018, Trump filed for an uncontested divorce from Donald Trump Jr. in New York. Since their split, she has not had a high-profile relationship – but a partnership with Woods would see the duo serve as a golf power couple.
Earlier this month, Woods – who has a friendship with U.S. President Donald Trump – was preparing for his latest comeback at home in Florida when he felt a “sharp pain” in his left heel, which turned out to be a torn Achilles. The 49-year-old confirmed the news on social media, writing: “As I began to ramp up my own training and practice at home, I felt a sharp pain in my left Achilles, which was deemed to be ruptured.
“This morning, Dr. Charlton Stucken of Hospital for Special Surgery in West Palm Beach, Florida performed a minimally-invasive Achilles tendon repair for a ruptured tendon. ‘The surgery went smoothly, and we expect a full recovery,’ added Dr. Stucken. I am back home now and plan to focus on my recovery and rehab, thank you for all the support.”
