Tiger Woods’ son is competing in the US Junior Amateur Championship this week and of course that dad is in attendance. Charlie had a decent performance so far, but his dad was the one that stole all the attention and not because he came into play.
While at Oakland Hills, a photo of Tiger went viral, and everyone started to talk about his car accident from a few years back. Back n 2021 that incident nearly cost him his right leg and, as everyone else has analyzed in the past, the injury really took a toll on his abilities to play golf, as it is evident that he has not returned to the level of game everyone was used to see from him.
He was in rehab for many months, and he made his return to golfing in April of 2022, interestingly enough at The Masters in August, Georgia. He has tried to play in different tournaments but even people have mentioned that could be closer to retirement.

In the picture that everyone has talking about people can se the large scar on the leg, one that is part of a long lists of major setbacks in his career after battling many personal issues.
For this year, Tiger woods has set the goal of playing only in one tournament per month, an intelligent decision considering the situation he has been in. The scar on the leg has not stopped him from walking around Oakland Hills.
He can’t be a caddy because of USGA rules but he has been following son Charlie all over the place. He remains poised to help him in his game as mentor on the green but also as a father with plenty of experience.
